We’ve had a great week! We were able to get outside and play both days! We took full advantage of the breaks in the rain. We are continuing to work through our tree study. This week we have talked about how trees come in all shapes, sizes and types. We have learned a little bit about fruit trees and are excited to learn more about that! Apple trees are our favorite so far!

Late last week each student took a turn drawing a picture of a tree. After the first drawing, each class went on a tree walk to investigate all the different styles of trees around St. Malachy

*****On Monday April 10, 2017, your child’s class will be going to the Creston ECC to watch the Des Moines Playhouse perform a play of The Mitten.   We are to be on the bus at 12:15, please have your child here no later than 12:05 p.m. on Monday. We will be back in time for normal dismissal.
